Our Story Behind Loris AngelsLori's Angels Animal Rescue started as a result of a dear friend and animal lover who passed away ~ Lori Weintraub from SHAINA Foundation. We are currently caring for cats and kittens and continuing her dream of saving countless pets that are abandoned, abused, homeless or injured. Although we are re-branding into Music, Mutts, & Mittens... Lori will forever be our foundation.

We are a 501 (c)3 non-profit, no-kill foster-based animal rescue. We strive to save homeless, abused, sick, and injured animals. We work to rehabilitate them with proper care and plenty of love. When our foster animals are ready, we find them loving forever homes.
Because we are a no kill animal rescue, our space is limited; we focus on getting animals adopted to FOREVER homes which allows us to take in more animals in need. We ensure all of our animals are healthy, neutered/spayed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped before being adopted. Music, Mutts, & Mittens also works in the community by feeding feral cat colonies, engaging in Trap, Neuter Return (TNR) missions which is a proven method to reduce the feral cat population and help stop the growth of homeless animals, unnecessary suffering and euthanasia rates in animal "shelters". Our goal is not only to save as many animals as possible but also helping raise awareness in communities on the treatment of animals (pets and strays alike) by providing guidance, resources, and empowerment to community members to make a difference for all animals. With all this said we are a no-nonsense animal rescue! We give no drama but we also won't take any! We live by transparency with our potential adopters- we lead a new generation of animal rescue, one that aims to advocate for animals in need, raise awareness with city and government officials and track down animal abusers! |
